ROUGE Dior 3 Ways

Without a doubt, one’s choice in lipstick makes a statement. With so many shades, finishes and brands to choose from, the possibilities for transformation are endless. Our favourite? Rouge Dior. Below, we’ve curated three different Dior looks for your lips, easily transporting you from everyday chic to nighttime glamour.

Our Thoughts

Look 1: Everyday Chic. Colour: Grège 1947

Paired with a pencil skirt and button down, nude lips are definitely a trend on the catwalk and at the office. Channelling effortless Parisienne chic has never been so easy.

How To

  • Exfoliate your lips with a scrub or soft towel, and then moisturize to prevent your lipstick from drying out.
  • Apply the colour straight from the bullet. With bolder hues, a lipstick brush will help make your application look more natural, but nudes go on best straight from the tube. If you’re concerned about the colour bleeding, line your lips beforehand with a matching shade.
  • Blot your lips with a tissue and you’re done!

Look 2: Brunch with the Girls. Colour: Rose Harpers

This bright fuchsia hue is the perfect compliment to mimosas and girl time.

How To

  • Exfoliate. This preps the surface of your lips by removing dry skin – a number one cause of post-application flakiness.
  • Dab concealer on your lips prior to applying your lipstick. For added oomph, dab a bit of highlighter to the upper ridge of your lips just under your nose.
  • Lightly fill in your lips, working from the outer corners in. To increase depth, saturate the colour so that there’s slightly more in the middle than at the edges.

Look 3: Night on the Town. Colour: Rose Zinnia

Deeply red without being intimidating, Rose Zinnia compliments every skin tone. Add a cat-eye for a dash of the dramatic, or highlight your lips with an elegant updo.

How To

  • Exfoliate, then moisturize! Blot lightly with a tissue prior to applying colour.
  • Apply, starting with your bottom lip and working out from the center.
  • Line your lips to prevent colour bleeding.
  • Rub your lips together to blend and smooth out the colour.
  • Add any finishing touches and/or touchups.
