How to Use
After cleaning, filing, and buffing your nails, apply one coat of polish, let dry, and then apply a second coat. Allow to dry for at least 15 minutes for a shiny, smooth finish.
Pros
First and foremost, we love essie (srlsy, who doesn’t)! Having used their products before, we wanted to see how their darker colours hold up to wear and tear. Wicked is a beautiful deep-browny/purple, making it ideal for a sultry winter look. We liked how this product only needs two coats to dry to an opaque and glossy finish. Plus, the colour is divine!
Cons
With any dark colour, chipping can be an issue, as even the slightest imperfections are magnified. While this product is long-lasting, it should really be used with a top-coat to prevent chips.
Overall Impression
We gave this product a two-day trial, and we were pretty happy about the results. The colour is glossy, mysterious, and looks great on our nails. The only catch? Regular activities (such as typing or doing the dishes) can cause the colour to chip – that’s why we’d recommend a top-coat such as essie Good to Go Top Coat.
