Whole Blends takes the very best wholesome ingredients and blends them together in unique combinations. Each blend is focused on a unique hair action (ex: Heals & Protects) instead of a hair need (damaged hair). Whole Blends is paraben free and uses gentle sulfates so it’s ideal for use across the whole family.
I tried the new Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner. The shampoo wasn't my favourite as it made my hair really tangled, and left it feeling dry and vaguely straw-like. The conditioner was great as it made my hair soft and smooth and detangled as soon as it was applied. When dry, my hair feels soft and clean, but not as "nourished" as I expected. I think with a different shampoo that didn't dry my hair so much, the conditioner would be amazing.
I received the Green Apple & Green Tea Refreshing Shampoo & Conditioner for review. While I love the scent- fresh green apple and a hint of tea- I was really disappointed that the shampoo isn't safe for colour treated hair. I did really enjoy the conditioner though, as it too smells incredible, and leaves hair feeling really smooth and silky without weighing my hair down.
I've been using the Garnier wholeblends shampoo/conditioner in cranberry for the past couple days. My first impression was that it smells AMAZING. If you're not into strong, clean fruity scents then perhaps you wouldn't love it, but I do. As for the cleansing/conditioning properties, they are generally good. The shampoo lathered up nicely and the conditioner was moisturizing but not overly heavy.
Im not generally a drug store brand shopper, I usually get my hair care products from the salon- yes, it is more expensive but from past experience with drug store brands it's worth it.
That is until now that I've found Garnier Wholeblends.
Let's start first with the scent, it is to die for! I absolutely love the Coconut Eater and Vanilla Milk combination. I spent a good chunk of time just smelling this product when it arrived. Once it finally made it into the shower with me the scent mixed with the hot steam of the shower and I was ready to move into my bathroom permanently. After the first use I didn't notice a change in my hair but I sure did love the smell. I used Garnier Wholeblends for about a week and my hair is incredibly soft and shiny with just enough bounce that I am hooked!
I loved using the Whole Blends Shampoo and Conditioner. It made my hair feel soft, healthy and shiny without weighing it down, and it smelled really nice too. Considering I swim regularly and the pool chemicals are harsh on my hair, I was quite impressed. I also loved that the ingredients that go into Whole Blends are fairly sourced and that Garnier is reducing their impact on the environment by reducing the amount of water/wastewater they produced!
I was skeptical when I got this product because Garnier products have bothered the psoriasis on my scalp, but this product affected it very little! It's the softest my hair has ever been and it smells AMAZING! The coconut reminds me of summer and didn't bother my allergies (to scents). Overall this is a very good product and I'd love to try a couple others on the line as long as the scent is not overpowering. Great job Garnier!
I tried this product out and was pleasantly pleased with the results! It keeps your hair soft and hydrated without any gross parabens! I really like how this product has Argan and coconut oil as well as cocoa butter to re-hydrate your hair! It definitely doesn't have much weigh-down and keeps it silky and soft for several days before needing another wash. The only thing I wasn't too fond of was the scent, but only because i'm not too keen on coconuts!
I'm normally very loyal to my current shampoo and conditioner brands but this might just change my mind! The Garnier Whole Blends (In Coconut Vanilla) smells absolutely amazing and lingers on your hair (which I love!). It also leaves your hair feeling incredibly soft but not weighed down and the moisturizing shampoo still does a wonderful job of cleaning your scalp. I would definitely recommend this product to friends!
Haircare Review: 'Scentillating' Sweet as Honey Hair from Garnier Whole Blends!
Now that the winter has finally arrived in Toronto, I'm starting to feel the drying effects on my skin and hair from the harsh winter cold. My hair suffers from serious dryness and frizziness in the winter time, and since I colour my hair frequently, my hair starts to look very lack luster and doesn't feel the greatest either.
So I was so happy to be sent the New Garnier Whole Blends Honey Treasures Shampoo and Conditioner to test out.
For the past week I have been using the Whole Blends Honey Treasures, and for a drugstore brand, I have to admit I am impressed. Not only does my hair feel soft and smooth, but it looks great, with no frizziness. The shampoo and conditioner are quite thick and I didn't need a lot to get a good lather going in my thick hair. It rinsed out it really well, which I was concerned with when I noticed how thick both products were. And the most amazing detail of the Whole Blends Honey Treasures was the scent. The strong honey scent reminded of the Vanitas exhibit I visited two summers ago (which was created from 2500 pounds of real beeswax!) and made my hair and whole bathroom smell amazing! And the honey scent lasted for days, only fading a little each day. If you are not fond of scented products, then Garnier Whole Blends is not for you.
Garnier is offering six different formulas that cover a variety of haircare issues including other products like leave-in conditioners and hair masks, for around $10.00 or less each. I'm looking forward to testing out the Whole Blends Argan Oil and Cranberry Formula for colour treated hair next.
P.s!: Want to try Garnier Whole Blends yourself? Garnier is offering free Whole Blends samples for a limited time! Let me know what Whole Blends you tried and how you liked it.
I had the chance to try out the Garnier and I was excited to find a paraben free shampoo that would work in my hair. I find it hard to find a great working shampoo that is paraben free (look at your labels if you don't know what I am talking about). I found the shampoo did its job just fine, but the conditioner is what I fell in love with. My hair felt smooth and soft, and most importantly, easy to comb through! I would recommend the Coconut Water and Vanilla Milk to anyone with thick or frizzy hair.
Coconut oil has become a trendy ingredient and with good reason. Both coconut oil and cocoa butter are hydrating, making this shampoo and conditioner duo exceptional at taming frizz. And in the winter, my ends get very dry and slapping a hat on and off only makes it rebel further. I noticed a difference in even my first use. My hair felt softer and had less static and flyaways. And it doesn't hurt that it smells so dang good.
Great everyday shampoo, that added the extra boost of protein my hair was lacking. Left it shiny and soft all day and will now save my avocados and honey for eating rather than making homemade hair treatments
Revive Your Hair with Garnier Whole Blends Green Tea Green Apple Shampoo and Conditioner!
I love pampering myself, and my hair is one part that need a lot of love! I like using products that will revive my hair since my hair needs moisture to keep it strong and healthy. I was asked to try Garnier Whole Blends Green Apple & Green Tea Shampoo and Conditioner for a few washes to see if it would help to moisturize my hair and to boost its shine. Since I love trying out new products, I stepped up to the challenge!
The smell of this shampoo and conditioner crisp and clean. The smell of the green tea really blends well with that of the green apple so it is a fresh smell without being so overpowering. I was more partial to the smell of the conditioner. It was like smelling a nice apple treat. I also liked the shape of the bottles as well. They are simple without being too complicated.
The Whole Blends Green Apple & Green Tea Shampoo did a good job of cleansing my hair. It lathered easily when it came in contact with water, and washed out well once I was finished using it so I did not have to spend too much time making sure it was all out of my hair.
The Whole Blends Green Apple & Green Tea Conditioner was a nice treat to help bring moisture back to my hair. I had to use more conditioner than I thought to completely cover my hair well, but it washed out well without too much rinsing.
With some shampoos and conditioners, my hair feels stripped of moisture. After my use, my hair felt soft and nice. After my third use, my hair felt more moisturized and it had more of a sheen than it did before using this one-tow combo. I also like the smell of my hair during and after using these products. After a long day, it is a soothing smell that helps to put my mind at ease, and puts me in the a relaxed frame of mind for the rest of the night.
I liked using Garnier Whole Blends Green Apple & Green Tea Shampoo & Conditioner. The blend of green apple and green tea are a welcoming scent, when used together, they cleanse and strengthen hair, and my hair felt softer and it had a bit more of a sheen after a few uses. I will continue to pamper my hair with both of these products so I will have hair that looks and feels great! If you would like to try a free sample, you can click here to snap one up for yourself!
I was really impressed with this product. It smelled delicious. The packing is very cute as well. This shampoo was gentle on my sensitive scalp. It left my hair feeling hydrated, smelling good and it did not feel dry which often happens in the winter. I would recommend this new line.
Smells wonderful and leaves hair feeling like silk
I received the Argan Oil and Cranberry scent for color-treated hair and it worked wonderfully! The scent is subtle and warm and though it was gentle, the shampoo removed any product and grime that was in my hair while the conditioner left my hair feeling super silky! I would totally recommend this series of haircare products to anyone looking for something that isn't overpowering on scent and leaves hair feeling healthy.
I loved this shampoo and conditioner. It smelled amazing which is always something I look for in hair products. I like that it had natural ingredients and made my hair feel so soft and smooth. The only reason this product didn't receive a 5-star rating was because it contained sulphates which I find can be very drying on my hair over time.
Garnier Whole Blends has been a great addition to our household! First off, I loved the fact that Ganier was making an effort to make a healthier shampoo with more gentle ingredients that can be used for the whole family. For example, the Whole Blends line of products is paraben free! There are still a few ingredients in the shampoo & conditioner that I prefer not to have in my every day hair care products, but that said, I always admire a company who makes steps to put out products that are more gentle, with better ingredients, etc.
We received the Garnier Whole Blends Color Care Conditioner and Shampoo (Argan Oil & Cranberry). I don't have any 'color' in my hair, so I can't comment on the effectiveness of that aspect of these products. However, I can quite easily say that the smell of both of these products is amazing. I love the way they made my hair smell...and the way it made it feel - smooth, soft and silky! The Garnier Whole Blends Shampoo and Conditioner smell amazing, work well, and I am looking forward to more great hair-washings with Garnier Whole Blends!
I tried the shampoo and conditioner and found both products to be very hydrating. I was especially impressed by the conditioner as I felt a smoothing and detangling effect as soon as I applied it. I also liked the packaging of the products - the blue and gold bottles look really cheerful in my bathroom. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the scent - I'm not a huge fan of coconut smelling products - so it's just a personal preference - but if you do like natural smelling coconut products, you'll love this!
***Disclaimer: I received these products for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I also will be receiving a $25 VISA gift card once my review is posted. This will in no way influence my review of the product...my reviews and opinions are always genuinely my own.***
I received a full size shampoo and a full size conditioner from Garnier's new Whole Blends line of haircare products. I tested out the "Repairing" formula, "Honey Treasures" (royal jelly, honey, propolis).
First off, let me tell you a little bit about this new line. Whole Blends takes wholesome ingredients and blends them in unique combinations to focus on a unique hair action rather than a hair need. (For example, Heals and Protects rather than damaged hair.) This line is paraben free and uses gentle sulfates, so it is okay to use on just about any head of hair. Their ingredients are purchased fairly and sustainably to support local farmers and communities. It is produced in facility that is committed to sustainability, reducing waste by 58% and water consumption by 47% since 2005.
Now, each line has 3 different products (to be used together for best results) - a shampoo, a conditioner and a mask treatment. I got to test out the shampoo and conditioner, which is probably more than I would use out of a haircare line to be honest. Usually, I'm just a shampoo kinda girl 🙂 Sometimes a 2-in-1. ANYWAY...lets start with the shampoo. The shampoo smells very nice (which is very important) and lathers well also. I know, we've all heard bad things about lathering shampoos and what they do to your hair, so if that is something you are worried about (which I don't think you should be since this is made using gentle sulfates) you can use this every other day, or whatever kind of washing schedule you use now. But you could probably use this everyday without damaging your hair. After my luxurious feeling lather (what can I say, I like the lather lol), I rinsed and my hair felt very clean (insert thumbs up).
I proceeded to use the Honey Treasures conditioner. It smelled just as nice as the shampoo (not surprisingly) and felt great going through my hair. I ran it through the length of my hair (trying to avoid the roots because then my hair ends up feeling greasy very quickly...like, the next day) and really focusing on my ends. My ends are pretty bad...split and dry and thin. Once I had finished that it was time for another good rinse. At this point, I had finished, although it is suggested that for extra care you follow up with the mask treatment (not available to me) so I was done.
I combed through my wet hair, which can sometimes be very difficult, but was very easy after using the conditioner. I let my hair air dry, like I always do since I have no patience for blow dryers haha! Once it had dried my hair felt very light and clean and slightly healthier. The true test for me is always my ends, so I felt them and they seemed not as dry (no extreme change though over the couple times I've used it). Overall my hair seemed to be light, clean and slightly softer than before.
I would rate this product an 8/10, because I'm not sure how much this product costs (if you know me, I'm a sucker for a deal) and I haven't seen significant results yet.
I have dyed hair, and this product worked really well on my bleach damaged hair. It makes my hair softer than usually and keeps it moisturized and the colour isn't affected! I recommend this product for anyone looking to repair damaged hair from heat or colour.
I honestly did not know how I was going to feel about the Garnier Whole Blends Shampoo/Conditioner Duo. Not of course because I don't trust the Garnier Brand...I don't trust my hair haha. With it's weird reactions to some creamy-ish shampoos, I tend to get a build up that is more of a mangled mess than anything to wash out and get under control again. The Garnier Whole Blends has such a unique texture and although creamy, did not leave that gross build up afterward. I was given the Whole Blends Honey Treasures (Repairing) to review and I have to say, aside from the beautiful scent (like WOW! I'd love this in a body wash!) - I was amazed upon the FIRST wash and condition. I could literally feel the conditioner doing it's job. This is not something I am used to when it comes to a repairing blends. I have used high end duos and low end duos. Although the Whole Blends is in an "affordable" price range, I'd mark these up there with a high end quality. Paraben Free and packed with luxurious goodness your hair is sure to soak in and love. A recommendation I will be sure to pass along to friends and family who may be looking to try something *new*.
We have both enjoyed using the new Wholeblends Coconut shampoo and conditioner for the last week. Tropical, silky, fresh, clean are some good words to describe it. The coconut smell was lovely and took me to a tropical memory in the shower - somewhere I'd like to be now! My daughter has officially claimed the bottle now that the trial is over. People have commented on how nice our hair smells. She's getting all her friends to order a sample as she's convinced they'll all love it too.
Great to review these products.
Make sure to rinse the conditioner out really well.
Garnier Whole Blends Green Apple & Green Tea Shampoo & Conditioner Review
We have been using the new Garnier Whole Blends Green Apple & Green Tea Shampoo/Conditioner for the last week. The shampoo lathers quite easily and the conditioner rinses out really well. I love that the fragrance is light and authentic smelling, rather than "chemically" like other fruit products. Our 7 year old daughter also can't get enough of telling people how soft it makes her hair - an added bonus!
The only complaint I have is that it has irritated our older daughter's scalp and caused her dandruff to flair back up. Her scalp is fairly sensitive, so this isn't necessarily surprising or even disappointing, as one shampoo/condition just simply can't be all things to all people.
Using the Garnier Whole Blends Honey Treasures shampoo and condition was an amazing experience. As someone with long and coloured hair, it was truly restorative. It had a fresh honey scent, great lather and left my hair feeling soft, silky and incredibly shiny. I could not stop touching my hair all evening long. It's also reassuring to know that I wasn't putting any harmful chemicals on my hair and that Whole Blends is free of sulfates, parabens. I highly recommend this shampoo and conditioner and I look forward to my next fresh shampoo experience!
I have been testing out the Repair Whole Blends shampoo which features honey, royal jelly and propolis. My hair is fairly damaged from bleaching and this shampoo adds just the right amount of moisture without leaving my hair feeling heavy and greasy. The texture is super nice as well (like jelly!) and the scent is very pleasant.
Having naturally curly hair has been an issue for me my entire life. My hair loves to be frizzy and taming it can be difficult. For the last few days I've switched to using Garnier Whole Blends Smoothing Shampoo in my daily showers. It is specifically formulated to control frizz and it works! My hair is softer and noticeably less frizzy and fly-away. This shampoo has a beautiful aroma and it lathers up so well. I love that it is made with natural coconut oil and cocoa butter. I am very pleased to have this opportunity to try Whole Blends! 4.5/5
The Garnier Whole Blends Repairing Shampoo is a creamy product that “heals and protects” damaged hair. On a positive note, this shampoo is paraben free and contains Argen, coconut oil, and cocoa butter. It also smells great, with hints of honey and propolis extract. I find that after washing my hair it has a faint honey scent that smells delicious.
On the down side, this product does contain sulphates, which can strip hair of its natural oils and irritate the scalp. These are not qualities you want in a reparative shampoo.
When using the shampoo I found that it lathered up very quickly and did a good job of cleaning my hair. The product felt very luxurious to use as it fills the whole shower with the invigorating scent of honey. I like that the shampoo is design specifically to be a reparative shampoo as opposed to just simply cleaning your hair. It makes me want to try other shampoos from the Whole Blends line and see what works best with my hair type (and which scent I enjoy the most).
Overall this shampoo has a delicious scent and does a great job of cleaning your hair. However, if you tend to avoid using products with sulphates or have a sensitive scalp then this might not be the shampoo for you.

First of all I absolutely loved the smell. It was a light honey with a tad coconut, which is totally my jam. I have used the product 3x and will definitely purchase again. You can tell I dig it b.c I have hid it from my kids.
I recently tried Whole Blends Shampoo and Conditioner and I was very pleased with the results. I've been dying my hair for as long as I remember and it important that I have a good conditioner that soothes my damaged hair. I could not believe I had no tangles after my shower - that never happens!
I let Garnier Whole Blends sweep me away to a tropical paradise. Okay, it was my shower but dang! This shampoo and conditioner duo really hit home with the delicious coconut scent, and my hair feels silky smooth. I should mention that right now, I have really bleached out hair, so anything that can tame it and maintain a certain degree of smoothness wins in my books. Bonus points are awarded for Garnier’s ability to ditch harsh chemicals so that the whole family can enjoy these products.
I've been using this shampoo, along with the matching conditioner, for around 1 week now. My hair is wavy & is prone to being frizzy and fraying on the ends when it gets dry.
The shampoo smells lovely, like coconuts. It lathers easily, washes out well, and leaves my hair feeling clean & fresh.
The conditioner has the same fragrance as the shampoo. It applies smoothly and feels nice on the hair, and once hair is rinsed & dried it leaves my hair looking shiny, bouncy, feeling soft, nourished and manageable without being weighed down.
This product is paraben free
The bottle will last a long time and so offers great value for money.
My family loved the The Whole Blends Coconut Oil & Cocoa Butter shampoo and conditioner. It had a lovely scent and left our hair feeling clean and soft without the residue you find with other brands. I have particularly unruly hair and found that I needed to use less product to get favourable results.
We received the coconut scented Whole Blends shampoo and conditioner and the first thing that every member of my family did, of course, was to sniff them. It smells absolutely fantastic - not overpowering, just delicious!
We tried it out as a family for 5 days, and everyone loved the shampoo in particular. It rinsed out easily, and left hair of all types feeling clean and light. The conditioner had mixed reviews: we all loved the scents, but the finer-haired people in the house found it difficult to rinse out and my teenager found that it left her hair a bit limp, so she just used the shampoo alone and found that to be a great fit.
Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend Whole Blends.
I've been looking for a shampoo that actually smells good, and I'm happy to say Wholeblends win. It's not often you find Honey that does not smell like a chemical, good job! I can't use this shampoo everyday due to the strong oil ingredients but it's a treat for once in a while.
I am so glad I got to try Garnier whole blends shampoo and conditioner. I absolutely love them, they've my hair so soft and shiny and really made my damaged hair much more manageable.I will be buying more!
I've always had frizzy bits of hair that can't be tamed. I've tried a multitude of products but none of them have ever stopped the dreaded frizz halo. When I washed my hair with Garnier Whole Blends and let it air dry (usually a recipe for a frizz-tastrophy) my hair was smooth and silky. I still can't actually quite believe it because it's never happened before! Garnier Whole Blends smoothed my hair while still being hydrating and it didn't make my hair feel heavy either, which is another issue I can have. Add on the amazing coconut scent and I am hooked!
Every time I put the Hydrate shampoo on with coconut water and vanilla milk, my mind escapes to a beautiful tropical setting while my hair is imediately feeling softer and smoother as it's coated with the shampoo's creamy lather. My hair feels amazing using just the shampoo alone and the smell is to die for. It doesn't feel dry and rough but very soft and conditioned.
I was chosen to try out the Whole Blends Honey Treasures Repairing shampoo and I absolutely loved it! The smell was amazing and it made my hair feel so great. It left my hair feeling soft and not as heavy as my normal shampoo. My daughter tried it as well and she liked it too. I've read the other product reviews and I'm excited to try the Green Apple and Green Tea.
I am in LOVE with this new Garnier line!! I tried the Argan Oil & Cranberry Colour Care blend and it made my usually frizzy hair so smooth and shiny, and I can't get over how amazing it smells. I can't wait to try more of the other scents!
Hello! Thank you for the chance to try new Garnier Whole Blends. I received Honey Treasures to review! It proclaims to heal and protect hair. Firstly, i loved the look of the bottle. I notice each type is a different colour, and very appealing to the eye! I used both the shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo lathered beautifully, and the scent was lovely. The conditioner also felt so nice in my hair! Afterwards, my hair felt healthy, volumized, shiny and clean. I was very happy with this product! I am looking forward to trying the other types as well!
